NVC case review progress slowing down?

Our case is at the NVC and I am tracking the current case review progress as published on

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

This gets updated every Monday and I have noticed that the progress has gone down dramatically.

On 7/6 they were reviewing documents submitted on June 2nd

On 7/12 they were reviewing documents submitted on June 4th

On 7/19 they are reviewing documents submitted on June 6th

Their progress is 2 days per week. How is this sustainable? It means the backlog is getting longer instead of shorter.

I am wondering if this is something that is related to the summer (NVC employees taking vacation) or is it a structural problem?

I noticed this too, hopefully it will pickup. It may have something to do with the delay in the cases submitted in May.

"Documents submitted via CEAC between 4-MAY-21 and 10-JUN-21 were delayed in getting to NVC's systems"

Yep, I saw that. It's frustrating because we submitted on June 10th so it looks like we hit the last day of the delay period (May 4 to June 10), but hopefully we will finally be getting reviewed next week.

Current case review time: As of 2-AUG-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 9-JUN-2021.

Unbelievable that they now only moved by 1 day. For those like myself who submitted on June 10th this is almost like a joke, that every week it gets closer but slows down even more...

Do we know what the normal timeframe is without the delay?

I had to upload a document stating that I did not have a document... which has now delayed my case 2 months going on 3 months if this doesn't pick up.

I uploaded and submitted my doc at the EO June.

As of today, 08.03, they still haven't moved their date of reviewing the cases for almost three weeks.

idk what's going on.
