RFE question

When USCIS is reviewing your case and determine you are missing an important document, does anyone know if they have finished reviewing the case and determined only one piece of evidence was missing or could there possibly be more RFEs after they resume reviewing the case?

usually they look over all the documents and only send 1 RFE

but they can send another / not written in stone

and papers at USCIS get lost

 

Did you write case #,  both your names and both DOB's on the upper right hand corner so they know which case to put your documents to?

and keep a copy of what you send and what they send to u?

Yes and it also asked that I attach and submit a copy of the forms that USCIS sent to me.

They can send multiple RFE's until your petition is approved or denied.

Thank you. I was just curious if they had possibly already checked the entire packet and only found the one document they need or if they just stopped once they saw it was missing. I’d really love it if they already reviewed the whole thing and only needed this one document. Just hoping to get approved soon so we can move to the NVC stage.

That would make too much sense and it is not always the case
