Hi,

For those who have submitted an expedited request and until you receive your interview letter/email, I'd like to ask:

1] What is your timeline from sending your expedited request (via support-philippines) for interview schedule at US Embassy Manila?

2] How many times did you have to call to follow up your case on your request (escalated to post)?

3] When did you receive your Interview Email/Letter from the US Embassy?

I can only comment on our experience which was last year and was for a K1.  First email was sent to USEM around 3rd week of September, 2 follow up emails were sent one week apart.  Around 3rd week of October we received a reply with an interview date for 1st week of December 2020.  So from date of original request to date of interview was 2.5 to 3 months.

Timelines may be different now.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

I think everyone's timeline for expedited interviews might be a little different because of the different ways there are to request them.

I received notice of our son's CRBA interview on 11/05/2020 with the interview scheduled for 11/19/2020. I sent and email requesting expedited interview for my fiancés K1 interview at the same time.

They approved it within a few days. It was a tight schedule, with having to fly to Manila, get the medical done and interview all within 1 week.

Timeline

Over the past year I did a couple informal requests over the phone, but I don't think those are given much consideration. Finally, I submitted a more formal request including signed letter.

June 2, 2021 - Request was emailed to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com and NVCExpedite@stave.gov (although the latter possibly no longer in use)
Additionally I submitted the same documents to the online web form "Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form":
https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

No follow up calls

June 15, 2021 - They informed us via email and set the Interview date of the first week of July

Did you have a previous interview set that was cancelled?

Thanks for sharing your timeline.

Getting a response on interview schedule at US Embassy Manila would be a MIRACLE.

This has been tiring already for families to be reunited.
