I'm thinking if you just subtract two weeks from where they say they are, you have a much more accurate idea of where they actually are.

Finally got through the NVC hotline today.  The agent said there was around a 2-week delay in our documents being transferred to their internal system.  So their system is reflecting that delay in our submission date.  Sigh.  We'll call again next week if we still don't get reviewed.

Stepdaughter's documents finally got reviewed today.  They were submitted May 14.  So that's right in line with the 6 week timeframe.  ie 2 weeks longer than the listed timeframe.  Everything was marked as accepted but there was a Case FE Review note requesting the marriage certificate for the mother.  I submitted that immediately.  I hope that is not another 6 weeks.  I should have anticipated that one although it was not listed in the required documents.  My wife's documents are not reviewed yet but that is not surprising since they were submitted a week later than the daughters due to a delay getting her NBI Clearance.  I assume she is on track for review next week.

A few hours after my previous update here, we got our DQ email!  I don't know if calling NVC nudged them into reviewing our documents, or if it was just a coincidence.  Factoring in the 2-week delay due to the NVC system issue, our DQ date is also within that timeframe -- around 6 weeks after our initial submission date.

Congratulations on the DQ!!!  I'll be cheering your progress towards interview and I think we won't far behind.  Alas, daughter just got reviewed so far, not DQ.  I'm hoping mom gets reviewed in a few more days and her docs should be all good and complete so maybe that puts her holding place in line for interviews while daughter catches up. It's a good day though. I'm really curious what they will report Monday on the timeframe page.  3 1/2 weeks in keeping with recent reporting trends?  Or 6 weeks like it actually is?

Thank you!  We could use all the good vibes we can get.  We've been unlucky so far, even with such a straightforward case.

Finally some update on their little meltdown.  It says documents summited from May 4 until June 10 were affected.  I guess it sucks to be us. It says it's fixed now,  however my documents still aren't reviewed.  We'll see.  I tried calling.  Took about 10 times before it wouldn't hang up on me and then I held for 45 minutes but since I have a job I do not have unlimited time to commit to the calling effort so I had to give up.  I'll try again later.

Action

Most Recent Update

Documents submitted via CEAC between 4-MAY-21 and 10-JUN-21 were delayed in getting to NVC's systems.

Resolved! You do not need to take any additional action and do not need to re-upload the documents unless specifically directed to do so by NVCNVC's review of these documents may be delayed.

22-JUN-21

I was affected. Submitted May 8th, got DQ June 24th. Took 7 weeks for me. Called NVC 2 times. So valid timeframes are about 6-7 weeks
