NVC: in Transit, inquiry

The NVC says our K1 petition is in Transit and the consulate has scheduled the interview, when we will know when our interview date is? Will they send us another letter like packet 3? Should we start working on the DS-160 or wait until we get another letter once it arrives at the embassy?

I'm on the same boat as well, can someone please provide more info as to whether we can go ahead and fill the DS-160.

That’s a standard message for everyone. You shouldn’t take it to heart. The usual procedure is to wait until the consulate contacts you or your fiancé.

Not sure if process is the same, we are completing I130. We received an email confirming our documents and waited for them to contact Embassy. We received An appointment email afterwards with a link to follow preparation guidelines.

The ds160 takes about an hour to prepare.  Not sure what advantage there is to doing it weeks in advance
