At nvc (south Africa)

Hi,  I'm wondering is their anything I can do to get my case moving gettin the nvc to the embassy now that they are finally processing k1 visas. The nvc says their waiting on the embassy to request it but that was months ago. Is their anyone I could email at the embassy or is it truly just a waiting game.

You always have the option to email the embassy. I can tell you that our case was sent to the Ankara embassy in Turkey this past October 2020, and we are still waiting for an interview date. This was suppose to be the part where everything moves a lot faster, but because of Covid it has taken this long. Hopefully they will start making their way through the backlog, and your embassy requests your case soon. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon.

Same here the embassy in Ankara start working January 2021 and I have been waiting at nvc since December and I tried contacting the embassy and the nvc multiple times but didn't get anything cause the embassy would say the nvc have the authority to send the case and the nvc say the embassy should request it and its been months and nothing changed

Unless you have grounds for an expedite (emergency, illness etc), there’s nothing you can do unfortunately.
