May 2021 - AOS Filers

Resubmitted AOS package (Original submission was March 11th, got rejection notice May 11th for wrong payment) with updated I-485 mailed it out May 13th. Arrived in Chicago May 14th. Received NOA1 via texts messages for AOS, Travel, and EAD May 31st in evening. Check not cashed yet, but it will be eventually. It seems my case was processed faster than other because of the rejection notice. They sent me a bright yellow paper to return with my packet.

 

No we just have to wait! We're at least a little more relaxed now that we have case numbers and know the USCIS has our case.

Same. Ours was received on 05/05 and still no updates.

05/04/21 - I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131 AOS application mailed to Chicago lockbox

05/05/21 - Case was received

06/16/21 - Credit card charged/NOA date

06/22/21 - NOA received (we didn’t get any text messages) 

07/25/21 - Biometric notice

08/11/21 - Bio appointment date (tip on bio app: don't go 45 minutes early especially if your appointment is at noon. You'll be waiting outside the office under the sun.)

08/17/21 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

12/01/21 - I-131 and I-765 case was approved

12/03/21 - I-765 & I-131 Card was mailed

12/04/21 - I-131 and I-765 Receipt Notice mail was received 

12/08/21 - Combo card mail was received 

12/11/21 - SSN card received 

12/21/21 - Interview was scheduled 

12/27/21 - I-485 interview mail notice received  

01/25/21 - Interviewed at Santa Ana Office. New Card is being produced

01/26/21 - Case was approved

02/01/21 - Green Card was received

Mailed our AOS, along with the EAD on May 18th, received in Chicago on the 19th. Eagerly awaiting the texts and emails..

Package received  in Chicago on May 8th, realized right after I mailed it that I had out of date forms. Got the returned package on June 4th. Will be resending this week, hopefully everything goes smoothly this time!

Small update:

I-485 fee was taken out via debit on June 2nd. Text and emails saying the case was recieved on the 3rd.
