Yes I applied for citizenship on January 26, 2022 and I have an N-400 interview on August 4, 2022

I just realized u mentioned that also.  Thats very strange that an interview for the i751 is scheduled a day after your n400 as initial and that you already attended your initial interview.  Something isnt right.  If anything it should be a combination interview.  I would contact the call center and request tier 2.  Tell them that you were scheduled for the first interview and attended it last year and then you are in receipt of another letter advising of an initial interview scheduled a day after your n400 interview.  My i-751 was last year in october, they actually "cancelled" my interview but I went to the office two days prior to my cancelled interview to get the stamp and was told my interview was still on and they were expecting me.  The system is messed up.  I had email, notifications, the case status, and when I called in and spoke to regular rep they told me it was cancelled but when i got to the office it wasnt cancelled.  Even afterwards they didnt know I had an interview on my cancelled date.  I didnt get my greencard until January 2022.  But yea, I would call the tier 2, perhaps see if you can do a case inquiry also that way you would be in touch with a representative out of that office. Detail your concerns.  Keep us posted and good luck.

So an update... Today I received a letter to attend an "INTIAL INTERVIEW" for my I-751 application... I've had an initial interview back in April of 2021... Now they want me to come back for another " INITIAL INTERVIEW" in August. At first I thought it was for a second interview but it says specifically says "initial interview". It looks exactly like my interview notice from 2021 except of course this one is dated July 1, 2022 and is scheduled for August 5, 2022. Anyone ever heard of this happening? I'm going to call in tomorrow to see what's going on. I also have an N-400 interview on August 4, 2022 so I don't understand why they can't just do it on the same day if they really want to do a second I-751 interview.

You can also wait until the N-400 interview date, bring the I-751 appointment letter, ask about why it was sent and if necessary, request for both interviews to be held that day.

And as an additional note, you have the right to request for a supervisor after your interview.

Thank you. I will also try this if I can get it resolved beforehand.

So I just called the USCIS Contact Center and they said a Level 2 Officer will be calling me within 72 hours to see if I can have both interviews scheduled on the same day. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Good.  I was hoping that you would proceed and not WAIT like others were suggesting because with this and everything in life you should be proactive rather than reactive.  Its already been so long.  You have been waiting for a response since 2018.  Always stay on top of things, and be proactive.  Because like the example I gave you, I almost was denied for my cancelled interview.  Had I not gone to get the stamp, luckily 2 days before my "cancelled" interview, I would have never known my interview was still on going.  Good for you for sticking through with it.  Keep us posted.  Wishing for the best for you.

Update: I just got home from the N-400 interview. It went well. They said I didn’t need to do another I-751 interview so it was just the N-400.
