Hello,

do we have to send original Birth Certificates with the I 129 or photocopies???

I have just ordered International BC'S for my son and me,but am a bit confused whether to send those in or whether a copy is good enough..........

just only photocopy!!! just wait furthere request from some service center for original birth! cert.!!!!!!!!just prepared ur original caz soon they will request!!!!!!!!

Just a copy for filing. They will ask to see the original once you do your K-1 Interview..so keep it handy. goodluck.

Send only copies My Fiance sent only copy of BC, and we even didn't include copy of his passport... I remember many people told us to make copies of each page of his passport as well as BC... but we sent only BC and recieved NOA-2 with no problem! Good luck!

yes never send your originals, the originals you have to show on the day of your interview

Keep originals. If you feel a little unsure whether copies alone will do, just send certified copies.

But since you got the international version, that is not an original (as in your original b/c issued when you were born) so you can send it in, or just make copies.
