This just shows how much Duterte and the leadership in the Philippines are in way over their heads dealing with this pandemic, nothing they do works

This is a lost country at the moment........

so you are saying it is PDuts fault for the COVID surge? If the people in NCR plus do their due diligence in wearing mask, social distancing etc... There would be no surge. have you check other cities COVID situation? Davao Region has 0 new cases as of mArch 25&26 because of the strict implementation and the residents doing their part.

9k+ new cases yesterday. I imagine more thN 9k tbh. With the ECQ back, USEM services gets stuck again.

Davao is a joke now of days, Traffic almost as bad as Manila,  24 hour liquor ban,  Curfews,  hotel and entertainment places shutting the doors, I heard Marco Polo shut down.  Prostitution is all over the place there now of day, go by Sutherland of JP Laurel when the sun goes down you will see them outside all over the place, beggars are as bad if not worse than Manila.  Davao is no longer a good place to live or visit.

Yes it is Dutertes fault, he is the President.  He was good at fighting crime and his Death squads were on point, but he is way over his head dealing with the pandemic.  Anything and everything he does seems futile.  Once a 3rd world country, always a 3rd world country.

Over a year of policy changes, and the people are worn out.  Is it better to starve to death than be sick from covid?  tough question but that is how it boils down when you are in a country that has a government that can not provide for the people the simple needs, like food and water.

Not his fault for the surge. His fault for the way that he is handling the pandemic.

Hahahaha seriously? Everyone is wearing masks + face shield. It is a joke as they are not effective. Can you smell smoke while wearing a mask + face shield? How big is a smoke particle compared to a the corona virus?

Have you considered false positives? How many of these are asymptomatic. Science shows that asymptomatic people do not spread it like previously thought. Have you also wondered why in the beginning of this pandemic all they talked about were deaths? Now all they talk about is number of cases as if that is so scary? Now that doctors have learned how to treat it there are far fewer deaths. In the beginning all they talked about was putting people on respirators which was killing them. They stopped doing that. The reality is over 90% of deaths are people over 70 years old and almost always have contributing factors. They should stay home and stay safe until they can get a vaccine and let the world get back to business.

Duterte said last week they must open up the economy

A week later they close Manila, Makes sense to me

He is either an idiot or has terrible advisors. He is killing the country. They can have a typhoon that kills more people in a day than this pandemic ever will, yet he is implementing measures that will do much much more harm, In the beginning they were giving people money and food. That was only the first month or two. Now they get nothing. But hey...At least they won't be drinking alcohol because we know how much that is responsible for spreading covid...

Rant finished. So tired of the covidiots in this world.
