Hi there,

I’m getting married in NY soon and we need the marriage license ASAP, and we’re chatting with an officiant and she says “When couples get married in person in NY, it generally takes up to 5 weeks to receive the recorded marriage license.“

I have heard that some people have the marriage license right away. How come? Does it depend on the officiant? What should we do to get it right away?

Can someone please help me?

Hi :) i got married in NYC in February and after i uploaded the completed license on Project Cupid i was told it would take 5-6 weeks minimum for the certificate to come through. I contacted the city clerk and told them i really needed the certificate for immigration purposes and they had it sent out to me literally 2 days after i messaged them.

This is correct. If you need your certificate fast, I can get it done from license to certificate in hand in less than a hour. Message me if you need my help. I don't charge VJ members for the service.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!
