Hi all. I submitted i130 Dec 2019. It was initiall at Texas Service Center and then transfer to Potomac. Been waiting 14 months and still no response. Does anyone have the same issue? Also I was wondering about how long after my i130 is approved will I get an interview (in Guatemala)

Who did you apply for? Have you check the processing time at USCIS for the kind of case that you applied for?

My father (US Citizen) applied for me. I’ve checked USCIS processing times and they are very long but I’m wondering how long it will take to get an interview scheduled after my i130 is approved.

I'm pretty sure the CR2 timeline depends on when the CR1 is approved

No -- CR2 does not depend on any CR1.  CR2 is an Immediate Relative visa and the underlying petition is adjudicated as a standalone case.  Maybe you're confusing it with K2 visa which is dependent on the related K1.

Unfortunately, your case is within the current estimate for I-130 processing at Potomac SC which is 11.5 to 15 months -- https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

I can relate to your frustration as our I-130 case is also at Potomac.  We tried calling USCIS a couple of times but we were told the same thing, that our case is within normal processing time.  Sigh.

As to your interview at Guatemala, it would depend on the backlog at the embassy and when your case gets to the top of the stack, but it seems they are continuing to process CR2 visas, so that's good news.
