So my wife has her interview and they're requesting that I upload my 2019 tax transcript so I've been hearing that they're not accepting the actual tax return so I'm not sure if that's the case but I went on IRS and they do not have my 2019 text transcript available

They always want the transcript. I don't understand why you can't just download it. I had no problems. Didn't you have to submit it at the NVC stage? You could also call the IRS.

When I did the NVC I gave them my tax returns I just went on IRS and they do not have my 2019 transcripts I'm guessing that they are behind because of this whole covid-19

I got my 2019 transcript in June 2020, unless you were late in filing they should have it. I recommend calling.

How did the interview go other than that? My wife's interview is on the 11th.

Yeah I will call tomorrow and the interview went fine they just said I need to upload my 2019 tax transcript when I try to download it it says ndicates the availability of a Verification of Non-Filing letter for the year. And they weren't very clear I'm assuming I still just log in to NVC and upload it

It would seem to me that the Embassy would want you to send it there. We did the CRBA at the Embassy and we needed to send some paperwork and they gave us a form telling us where to send it. I would send the Embassy an email and ask how you are supposed to get them the transcript. I may be wrong but I think once you are passed along to the Embassy from NVC everything you do from that point is through the Embassy.

Well thanks for your input this is starting to become really frustrating all it says on the paper she got was to upload it to the online application but I emailed them and see what they say

Surprised that NVC didn't demand tax transcripts.

You upload the transcript to your CEAC, must the same as you did with NVC.    Embassy should have included instructions for this in the 221g

I have the same issue with tax transcripts. I filed my taxes in July 10th a few days before they were due, wrote them a check, they cashed the check a few days later and endorsed by the Dept. of Treasury.

I called IRS back in October and said it should be cleared up by December, I called back in late december and no tax transcripts and they said it could be up to 16 weeks before my tax transcript is available.

I have read on this forum of others having the same issues.

I just checked and my 2019 transcript is available for download.  Did you go here?

Yeah so I called the IRS and they said that there was some kind of error that had to do with returns and payments so he was telling me that it supposed to take like 16 weeks

Damn...I know some people have trouble verifying their identity as they ask questions from the credit report.  Some ask for really old information.  I got lucky and knew the answers.

The word "transcript" has 10 occurrences in the form instructions

YMMV
