They told us the same thing but just today the Consulate sent me an email saying they are ready to move forward if NVC would just send them our file

it's strange this is the process :

*Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

NVC notifies person of interview date.

NVC then sends case to consulate

Well dang, We just paid our fees and sent everything in.  Was hoping to have interviews done soon so we can pick up my step children by June.  I guess that will be a no go

Off. Hop on the slow train... maybe June 2022?

Don't forget to email them call them often.

Have they been answering their phones or giving you any answers via email?
My embassy doesn't pick up phone calls and they answer in pre-typed emails, without really answering anything.

2022???  :FAINT:

I suggest you search for threads that are embassy-specific.

I see that a lot of Londoners got their interviews recently. We haven't had any interviews since March 2020... so I can only compare my case with others from my country... I hope you find some better news than I have been finding. Good luck!
