Hi. We’ve just been approved of our K1 visa and I’m trying to be one step ahead for AOS. Once we have my SSN and our marriage cert,

• how long does it take before I can be added to USC’s health insurance?

• can we get updated 1095c right away?

• what other proof can i immediately have for i944 purposes (instructions state 1095c, but are there others)?

He’s in the navy but currently his extended deployment and impending transfers in Feb are making our schedule extra unpredictable and tighter (which I have long accepted and understand).

You don't need to have a SSN to get added into DEERS and ultimately Tricare. Don't let them send you away, be persistent. You'll get a dependent card valid for 3 months and should be added to Tricare immediately. Your then husband can pull the sheet showing that online.

As long as you have the marriage certificate, you can be added right away.  Along with your ID as well.
