USCIS operations make no sense - I just saw in another group an October WAC ROC filler getting approved yesterday.

I keep on searching on the Case Tracker app and saw 2 ROC cases that were approved recently. I think both got transferred to NBC. But the case #s are after mine. I filed April 2020. I don’t know how they “process” applications. Is it random?

Congratulations to them though. 👍🏼🎉

Oh okay, uscis claims they do it in order but sometimes it looks like they randomly choose any applications or the ones they think that will be easier for them.

They do choose applications randomly, the earlier you filed the more you wait. I see filers from 2020 get approved and those from 2018 and 2019 still waiting. Makes no sense. Also my case was transferred to NBC and 3 months later went back to my local office, scheduled for interview since September 2020

Received an NOA in the mail today from California Service center indicating that they applied fingerprints to our case dated 1/21/2021 (no web notice only NOA in the mail). What is weird is that we got notice on October 30th for the same thing, also after case was transferred to NBC Dec 22 & 23rd.

So not sure why we got the second fingerprint notice, plus it was sent from the California Service center after transfer to NBC.

Oct 2021 out of processing time inquiry made, response May 5th 2022 that our i751 case will be addressed at our n400 interview

For the people who are data nerds (like me): I saw on reedit this tool https://gctracker.github.io/ which is much better than the USCIS processing time estimation. It clear shows that WAC has a create backlog, and getting our case to NBC should really speed it up -- one of the smallest backlogs among all the processing centers.

For some reason I'm not able to access the site, when I click on the link it says file not found. But this look interesting
