Hello guys!

So I am finish up my i-864 form but I have some questions on how to fill out some parts. Can you please advise?

1. Part 2 Item 5 and 6: I filled the spouse application online. Do I have a USICS account number or A#?? I do not see any of this on the USICS Portal. Where can I find these?

2. Part 4 item 12 and 13:  Does my husband have a USICS account # or A #?

3. Part 5 Item 1, 3, and 8: If the sponsored is my husband, do I enter 1 for item 1 and then also 1 for "if you are currently married" item 3??? then the number for the total entered on household size would be 3. Is this correct? we don't have children or anything. (household really is just 2)

4. Part 6, Item 7: My current individual income is for 2020 or the one shown on 2019 tax return?

5. Also, I have a co-sponsor who is married. He has to fill out the i-864, but does his wife need to fill out a i-864 as well or an i-864A o neither?

Thank you so much for your help!

My husband is also preparing the AOS form now (currently awaiting CEAC to acknowledge payment), so I will be answering based on how we understood the form.

1. If this is the first time ever you are petitioning or have not been issued an immigrant visa yourself, you do not have an A#.

2. If he has not been issued an immigrant visa before, he doesn't have an A#.

3. Part 5 has a note that says "Do not count any member of your household more than once." Item 1 is the number of persons you are sponsoring in that affidavit (so you should put 1 on item 1 [which should also be the number in Part 3, item 29]). Item 3 falls under the persons NOT being sponsored (so you put 0 there even if you are married because you are sponsoring him and you have already counted him in item 1).

I also don't have an idea about your last 2 questions, so waiting on the other members to chime in.

4.  If the sponsor is self employed, the current income will be taken from the 2019 tax return.  If the sponsor is not self employed, then CURRENT annual income is calculated as follows:

Current weekly income x 52 = current annual income

Current monthly income x 12 = current annual income

Current pay period income x number of pay periods per year = current annual income

Or current income as stated on the employer certification?

Best evidence is pay stubs showing  actual income which has been earned.
