No updates since Jan 2021 and the website doesnt give me a date anymore to when expect completion.

Same,  and we have two friends have have naturalized in like three months, same office both before and after us. Very discouraging.

I had a interview today. I passed and same day ceremony. Long journey come to end with being citizen finally.

Hello everyone! I filed on December 15, 2020, and received a biometrics reuse notice in April. My estimate under the new system shows 11 months till completion.

 

Does anyone know if the new system states the total time from filing or the time remaining? (The old system before the recent upgrade this week, if I recall correctly, showed time left.) If it is time remaining, I have a long wait ahead of me!

@CloudNine1, I wouldn’t be too worried about the new processing time estimates (I know easier said than done...). In my experience, USCIS often makes adjustments when it introduces or re-introduces tools, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw our processing time estimates go up and down for the next couple of weeks. 

 

It would be interesting to learn what estimated processing times are for others.  Mine are just like CloudNine1’s; it used to be projected around August 2021; now it says 11 months as well.

I suppose, it's the remaining time. As mine says 6 months and already been more than 6 months from when I applied. Although I wouldn't rely on it too much as it's just an estimate and also used to be changing frequently during process.

Mine says 13 months, it used to be around November 2021 😔 

Do you guys think it will change? I’m already waiting since December 2020 plus adding this extra 13 months is just way too long! I’m really upset right now!

Mine went from expected completion in June 2021 to Estimated time* until case decision:  approx. 10 months ... not sure if that means October 2021 or 10 months from now.

 

I have tickets booked to Europe to see my family in September for the first time post-Covid, and my green card expires in June. Looks like I can kiss that flight goodbye.

 

Beyond pissed.

I would give it some time.  For my field office (Washington, DC), for example, official processing times are 9.5 to 16.5 months.  That would put me in the upper range of that with the time projected to case completion and the time already spent waiting.  Thus, I don’t really think the projection is all that accurate.  It may or may not change, but I will definitely keep checking my account, the Document tab, and my mail.  Remember, USCIS has always been a little chaotic in recent years, and now with COVID, I imagine that things are even messier.  I will try to ignore the tool’s individualized processing times and just hope that my turn will come soon (I have an I-751 pending as well, whose extension letter expires on 9/27, and I really hope I won’t have to even try to get a 551 stamp in my passport). 
 

I hope all of you are keeping your spirits up; I know how hard it is, but we’ll get there eventually...
