AOS package sent, no receipts yet? Anyone else?

Hi, We submitted our AOS marriage based package 10/08 and haven’t received any notice receipts yet.

We sent certified checks, so is hard to track if money has been collected, but will give a call to the bank to see if the checks have been cashed.

Fedex confirmed delivery to Chicago Lockbox received/signed by a J.Harper.

 

From what i am reading i should call USCIS after 30 days if no notice of receipts yet? 

Are there other suggestions in case i dont hear within 30 days? I guess im just paranoid and looking for suggestions,

Normal.

 

I've got 2 friend who sent their package on the last week of September, 2020. They just got receipts this past weekend.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Packet 3 Sent : 11/10/13.. Had to schedule interview appointment and attach confirmation receipt to packet

Interview Date : 12/1/14                           Interview Result : Approved !

Visa Received : 12/10/14 picked up at Jacmel location

US Entry : 12/15/14 Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Apply for Social Security Card: 12/30/14 Connecticut

08/26/2020 - Application Received by USCIS

09/25/2020 - Debit Card charged by USCIS

09/28/2020 - Received I-797C Rejection Notice in the Mail (reason: outdated I-765 form)

09/29/2020 - Received Text Message Receipts (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/05/2020 - Received Hard Copy Mail Receipts (NOA?) (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/12/2020 - Sent new I-765 form

10/14/2020 - New version of I-765 received in Chicago

03/10/2021 - Notice of Deficiency (Missing I-693 Medical Form)

06/25/2021 - Receive Biometrics Appointment Letter

07/23/2021 - Biometrics Appointment at Norfolk VA USCIS Office

07/23/2021 - 485 & 765 statuses changed to "Initial Review"

07/29/2021 - Interview Ready to Be Scheduled

08/13/2021 - Interview Scheduled for September 21st

09/21/2021 - Interview at USCIS Norfolk VA

09/21/2021 - Email saying “card produced and mailed”

09/24/2021 - Approval email sent for I-485

09/28/2021 - Green Card mailed by USCIS (email notification)

09/29/2021 - Green Card delivered to mailbox (also email notification)

10/01/2021 - I-765 rejected because “benefits were obtained via other means”

 

13 Months Total, No Lawyer or assistance besides USCIS website and VisaJourney, you can do it too!!!!

Yes. We've got a notification via text on Thursday but we haven't received any letter yet. Apparently they charged our credit card two weeks ago. Our lockbox is Chicago. I hope you receive yours soon.

When did u send urs? And which date was received at the lockbox?

It was received on the 16th of November. Next Monday would be 30 days waiting for our letter. Fingers Crossed

My package was received on 10/16 too but no check cashed, no text, no letters...

For paper filings, USCIS seems to be running very slow in processing lockbox receipts these days I would assume due to budget cuts to their contractor staff.

 

I had one I-765 EAD application delivered by USPS on October 5 2020 by USCIS that was only processed 15 calendar days later on October 20 (check cashed and case receipt number generated).

 

Compare this with 6 different paper filings I filed in 2019 (I-130's and I-485's), USCIS debited payment and generated case receipt numbers within 3 to 5 calendar days from USPS delivery.

 

I have another paper filing that was just delivered to US that was delivered November 5- I'm not holding my breath for anything to be done (funds deducted, case reciept number generated) until at least November 20 ...

I-130 JOURNEY FOR F2A Minor Child of LPR (MNL Consular Processing)

7/29/20: Online I-130

9/28/20: I-130 Approved

10/1/20: NVC case number generated (10/5 CEAC ready for doc uploads & 11/18: Doc uploads completed for NVC review)

11/21/20: DQ'ed by NVC

1/24/23: USEM schedules interview (3/17: St Luke's medicals completed)

4/3/23: USEM F2A IV Interview (4/4: Visa Issuance & 4/6: Passport delivered)

6/6/23: US POE (6/8 SSN card mailed, 7/6 green card ordered)
