Hello,

I was wondering if a few people could take a look at the table of contents I made for the evidence we are submitting with our I-129f to make sure its okay. Let me know what you think!

Thank you!

Max

Photos, screen shots,  fb messages do not prove face to face meeting within two years

So you're saying we shouldn't submit photos of us together?

You can submit a few if you want.   I submitted none..

Also,  you only need to prove one meeting not several. Concentrate on the one you have the best evidence for

Or are you just talking about the facebook messages?

Photos, fb messages and screen shots.   None of them prove meeting within the prior two years

OP, flight itineraries are often not accepted, because they are not evidence of travel.  Photos are not evidence of travel within the required timeframe, as @payxibka mentions.  Best bet is actual tickets/boarding passes and passport stamps.

Also, your original post contains your full names.  This is a very public forum, and you should always redact personal info please.

Okay, sorry about that. I will. Would boarding tickets for just me going to visit her in Mexico be good evidence?

Yes.  Boarding passes are better than itinerary, as evidence that travel occurred (rather than was simply booked).

The boarding passes you listed are primary proof of meeting.  The ones traveling together are best.  Receipts of hotel stays are good to include as well.   Photos and screenshots are secondary evidence.

Okay thank you. Is showing evidence of more than meeting bad? We have a ton of evidence of being together all of the time over the past two years but we don't have any actual boarding passes (but we do have print outs of electronic boarding passes).

For example, I have receipts for our tour of the Colosseum in Rome with the date (but only my name on it) and a picture of us at the Colosseum. Same with the Vatican (a receipt with only my name on it and a picture of us at the Vatican.

Also, we have print outs of our electronic boarding passes from Madrid to Zurich and a print out of our train tickets from Zurich to Grindelwald and a picture of us in Grindelwald.

Same kind of thing with France. An itinerary of our flight from Madrid to Paris, a picture of us in Paris (with the Eiffel Tower behind us) and print outs of our e-boarding passes for our flight from Paris to Madrid.

I also have receipts for buying these flights and more. Would the receipts help?

Okay thank you! So it's okay to include the secondary evidence? Are print-outs of e-boarding passes going to count as primary evidence?

Receipts, photos and itineraries are secondary evidence.  Your goal is to show that you had one in-person meeting within the immediate two years prior to submitting the petition.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Find your best evidence, and submit that.  Having loads of photos together is fine, but it doesn't show that you meet the requirement.  They could have been taken three years ago.

There is no requirement to show 'evidence of ongoing relationship,' so text chats are not useful.  Most photos do not reflect a date.  Itineraries don't mean travel occurred.  Passport stamps and actual boarding passes are the most readily accepted evidence by USCIS, historically.
