Case ready to be scheduled for interview since 2020 March?!?! should i renew my EAD card?

Hello. My Adjustment of status case is ready to be scheduled for interview since March 17,2020 and Until now- Today is October 12,2020, Still no news from them. Anyone have the same issue? Im worried that my combo card ( work permit and advanced parole) will expire before the interview.  My combo card expires by Feb 2021. Should I request for it to be renewed or wait ? Any suggestions, comments and thoughts are super welcome. Im super desperate for answers. From las vegas,nv..

That's far from being an issue. I was at ready to schedule for almost 1 year. And yes. You should renew your combo card. Interview scheduled is not guarantee that you will be approved right away.

You should renew. It's free and receipt for the renewal itself adds 180days to the current EADs expiration (so Feb 21, 2021 + 180 days for you).  We have been ready to schedule since May 2019. Our renewal took about 5.5 months.

Hi. How do u renew the Ead? will u pls give me some pointers where to start? i researched in the uscis website. I feel so lost. thanks

I checked the uscis website and it seems to be charging that 400 bucks fee. Im already lost in that website and dunno where to start.

It's the i-765 you filed the first time around.  The form may have been updated but still the i-765.

Hi, how is your timeline? My I485 was ready to be scheduled for an interview since April 2020.It's over a year.
