Maybe wait til its 30 days then call uscis? I would not send a new packet until you get update from them. It's kind of weird that they didn't Cash your check yet, maybe they have pretty heavy backlog in their service center. Just wait a lil more then if nothing still make a call to uscis

Thank you. Do they cash check at the AZ office? Or do they cash check after it's sent to a service center? I'm just worried if maybe my packet got lost in their mail room somewhere......

Umm i think so. They cashed our check and showed its from USCIS phoenix. Try to call them after 30 days and ask if you must wait a lil longer or if you must send another packet.

My case was updated to show fingerprints were taken on 10/29,  only 23 days after they  received my package. Looks like SRC is working fast...😆

Neither the VisaJourney guide for removal of conditions nor the USCIS I-751 instructions say anything about submitting fingerprints along with the I-751 package. We did not submit fingerprints along with our package; we assumed that fingerprints would be taken again if we had a biometrics appointment. Did we mess up?

I don't think you understand what I said or how USCIS worked. USCIS sometimes will reuse some applicant's previous fingerprints, thus the applicant's case status will become "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken". This is what my case status looks like now. But USCIS will also request some applicants to go to take the biometrics again, then the applicant has to go and take biometircs again.

This is actually right. When we called USCIS the other day they mentioned about this. He said if i needed a new biometric they will send me another letter for biometric but if i don't have to they're just gonna use my old biometric. First i thought its weird but when i saw your post regarding it,it actually happening lol

Thank you for your further explanation. You are correct, I did not understand what you wrote at first. I am glad to know that we may possibly not have to go in for biometrics again.

OMG! we finally have a case number. LIN service center. Is it weird that they didn't cash our check yet? We have like 50+k in that account so surely the check would clear?? Very nervous.

Also we had our infopass this morning and it was a total waste of time. The man was horribly rude to me and my attorney, I cried and he basically told me to shut up lol. Don't waste your time on an infopass to get a stamp if they've lost your case. We ended up getting our receipt number by chance on the call in line.

After going through the whole K1 Visa and AOS process, we've built a lot of patience not to worry...haha...the process is what it is.

We just wanted to share our info for others who sent their applications around the same time, to give them piece of mind that things are moving along 👍

I'm sorry if this has been asked already but what number do we call at USCIS to find out the status of our filing if it has been delayed? I don't intend to call today but we may at some point.
