K-1 Fee

I just received my case number and invoice number from the NVC. Do I complete the DS-160 next or pay the fee first? I tried to pay the fee but it just gives me this message... Confused on what to do next.

The ds-160 doesnt have a fee. The 260 does.

Of course the visa has a fee.

 

@Jullom fill out the DS-160 first. You'll need the application number to pay the fee if I remember correctly.

Then why does it print out a slip to take to the bank?  It is called a kisa application fee

You can complete your DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application now or wait a little closer in the event you have changes. Also, it has not baring on the visa fee. Some embassy's require you to print off a MRV to take to their designated bank for payment before they will allow you to schedule an appointment. Since we don't know your country that you will be interviewing further instructions can't be provided. Go back into your profile and complete the visa type and the country and then your profile on the left column is complete with that information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.
