No idea if my package was delivered or just did not process yet?

Hi everyone,

 

I filed my application on August 25th but have no idea what date it was delivered as my tracking number never updated to "delivered", just "Arrived at post office". I spoke with the PO Box supervisor and they could not find my package in the delivery room so she said that it was more than likely delivered without a scan, sigh.

 

My question is, it has been almost 3 weeks since it was likely delivered and I have yet too see any charge on my card or recieved any notification from USCIS. I spoke with a live agent today and they could not find any record of my application in their system. Is it possible that they have recieved it and just did not get to processing mine yet? Would my application show up in their system even if they did not charge my card yet or is it not showing up in their system because they just haven't processed it yet?

 

I have no idea what to do as I cannot confirm that it was delievered on either side and i'm getting nervous as I do not know how long I should wait before I get concerned as I know that it is taking a while for a lot of people to get any notification currently.

08/28/2020 - Package was received by USCIS                                                                                                   12/15/2020 - Online account updated and indicated the I-944 RFIE was sent

09/25/2020 - Debit Card was charged by USCIS                                                                                                 12/28/2020 - Recieved the I-944 RFIE via e-mail after speaking with a tier 2 officer

09/29/2020 - Recieved text notifications from USCIS with reciept numbers                                                  1/11/2021 - Responded to the RFIE and sent the I-944 to USCIS 

10/01/2020 - Recieved rejected I-765 back                                                                                                           3/3/2021 - Biometrics scheduled for 03/29

10/05/2020 - Recieved physical reciept notices in the mail

10/06/2020 - Sent I-765 to Chicago Lockbox using UPS

10/09/2020 - Package was recieved by USCIS

10/30/2020 - Recieved text notication from USCIS with reciept number for I-765

Pre-Covid it took them 21 days to process my Card after receipt. I have seen currently it is taking around 30 days to get just about any application processed and received. Come the 30 day mark it should be getting close. I wouldn't panic until day 45 maybe.

21 days in total or business days?

 

But yeah, it's still early. People who filed the same date as me only got their checks cashed this week so if I don't hear anything by next week, i'll look into it further.

for every VJ user like me and you there are dozens possibly hundreds more who don't post here. i was surprised when i got to the fedex store the lady knew all about USCIS and 3rd floor and all that. she said she'd already sent out 3 that day. i live in a little suburb of richmond virginia (with a very LARGE indian/asian population) so that took me by surprise.

Yeah, that is very true. I've seen several people where it took up to 32 days for theirs to cash so I definitely don't think its uncommon, especially in Covid times and with everything going on with USCIS. Hopefully we are just unlucky and ours is taking a bit longer for whatever reason.

 

If I don't see any charge or hear anything by next Friday, I'm gonna call USCIS and see what's going on I think.

That "J HARPER" person must be very busy!  :)  Anyway, FWIW, I shipped my wife's AOS package on 8/31 and it was delivered on 9/2, but as of today we haven't received anything and my CC hasn't been charged.

I wish I had proof of delivery. Still so mad that they didn't scan my package when they delivered it.

 

Hopefully we'll both hear something next week 🙂 Please update us when you hear something!

Oh no. I just sent mine in on Monday to the Chicago lockbox, also signed for by J Harper lol, but I thought it would only take about a week or so to be processed. I guess covid has really taken a toll on processing times.

The average seems to be somewhere between 12-30 days. That being said, I hope that you get lucky and that yours get processed faster but don't be concerned if it takes a little while!
