I wouldn't worry about it.  If it is reinstated, USCIS will have some automated method for requesting it - most likely to have applicants bring it to the AOS interview, just like you bring other updated documents.

I doubt they would retroactively ask for i944s from people applying during this period at a later time. If they in the future do reinstate the i944 I think it would only be applicable to those applying for AOS at that time.

i will be mailed is with USPS using 1 day express mail. that way USCIS can get it on tuesday guaranteed. 

Even if the injunction ended tonight,  there is always a several week notice period of any changes

Looks like the I-944 requirement is back and retroactive for all those who filed while the July 29 injunction was in effect.  USCIS updated this page with the Sept 11 decision just today -- https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/public-charge/injunction-of-the-inadmissibility-on-public-charge-grounds-final-rule
