I know it is tough on everyone just trying to get some answers from USCIS/NVC. I just hope all of you get your petitions forwarded to the embassy's, so that you can get your appointment dates.

Good Luck to everyone!!!

Hi Eddie & Mary,

You two are so lucky. We have the same approval date and we still don't have any packet received or appointment posted online. Good luck to your medical and interview Mary. We hope we can hear next week on our case.

Yes, we got lucky in the fact that we caught the approval wave and our petition has been going faster than normal. Don't worry, by the end of this week or early next week, you should be able to find out your appointment date. Thanks for your well wishes and I am sure Mary appreciates it. Good Luck to you and I hope to hear you have an appointment date soon!!

Good Luck!!!!!

Called USCIS this morning to see if I could find anything else out...the guy told me the petition was sent out to the NVC yesterday, so I guess that's good news! Said it should get there in the next few days...yes! All you guys approved on the same day as me were probably in that same box...

I called the NVC tonight, still no record on file at this time, at least she was nice and showed a little empathy.

I was touched after NOA2 also......However, they told me I was sent on to NVC on July 18 and I was not received at NVC until July 2. I think what they mean to say is "As of XX day, you are queued to be sent to NVC".

In this case I hope you're wrong Vis! LOL...The guy told me it had left the building so I wouldn't think they'd say that unless it was true? Ah who knows...if it left the building how can I get a touch right? But I've seen that on other people timelines, getting touched after being sent, so screw it, bottom line there is more waiting...

I was told i was sent on June 18 and then received touches 18, 19 and 20. NVC said I wasn't there until July 2. I hope I am wrong too gbertz7 cuz that NVC wait was the worst for me. I expected to have to wait for the NOA2....but expected NVC to be an 'overnight kinda thing'. But I've seen many here lately who have waited even longer..in fact much longer...than I had to. Just be prepared to wait a little that way you are driving yourself nuts. If by some chance you were lucky enough to make todays 'shipment', you'll be pleasantly surprised!!!!!!!!

I called the USCIS to try to get more information. The first time the guy was rude and wouldn't tell me anything after I said I had apporval letter. He said you got the letter right, then your approved and NVC will have your case. Completely didn't listen to the statement I said about NVC not receivig case yet. Called back, basically was told that it would take 45 days before case would be transfered to NVC and that 3 weeks isn't enough time. Asked several other questions and basically questiones were ignored.

I received the VISA appointment letter on the 10th of July for the 17th of July! Considering that we send of the K1 petition on the 9th of March I would say that was really fast. However, I cannot attend the interview appointment because it collides with my final exam for my masters degree at my university. You cannot image how my heart sank when I saw the letter. So I requested a new appointment and now I have it at the 14th of August. So I lost a month, but it still went all smooth and quickly so far.

03/09/2007 - I-129F petition sent to NSC

03/13/2007 - I 129F petition received @ NSC

08/26/2007 - entering the USA

09/04/2007 - getting married

09/14/2007 - filing for AOS

10/24/2007 - receive Request of Initial Evidence

12/21/2007 - appointment at local USCIS (I-765 pending longer than 90 days)

12/10/2007 - receive appointment letter to capture biometrics for 12/26/2007

12/12/2007 - just go to the local USCIS office with my appointment letter, they take biometrics

12/12/2007 - two hours later I receive an e-mail update for my case: EAD approved

12/24/2007 - EAD arrives in mail, but has the wrong birthdate on!

01/07/2008 - re-apply for EAD

01/25/2008 - receive corrected EAD
