Hey, we got married two days ago on my 32 days of entering in US.

I have a questions please if someone can help, the term 90 days which given to us on arrival is to get married or to get married and apply fro adjust of status during these 90 days.

I am confused on it :(

Ideally both :) The important part is to get married within the 90 days, but regardless of the marriage you will be out of status if you don't file for Adjustment of Status within the 90 days too.

Some don't really care about that fact, since overstay is forgiven for spouses of USC, but (and especially in the current climate) I personally would not want to be out of status :)

marry and file is the best option.

It's best to file as soon as you've got all the required documents (and you don't need any evidence of a bona fide marriage in the AOS packet beyond the marriage certificate).

If you don't file, you're out of status and technically deportable after 90 days.

Beyond that

- The sooner you file, the sooner you'll be done with the process

- Fees apparently are going up significantly effective Oct 2
