Hmm... I have some good news and bad news from VSC...

Good news first: Today I receoved my notice from USCIS that the phone number on my NOA1 is incorrect. Remember they announced that they would do this correction back in June 8th? It only took a month for me to get the notice... thats not so bad.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/Up...call_center.pdf

Bad news: They revised the backlog on receipting to 7/27, so I don't expect any significant NOA2 action for us until then.

I got that notice on June 29  I almost had a heart attack when I was on the phone with my mom and she said I had a letter from the Department of Homeland Security! LOL. I made her open it and read it to me.

Hey guys, just because they're not caught up yet doesn't mean they're not doing ANY of our cases! They did 10 last month...

I know it's not much...and as negative as I've been....try to stay positive!! (Ok....I'm so bad right now even the crying smiley makes me cry....so I don't want to see it or I'll post one too. lol)

Can’t help it Sparrow , my man getting so excited and organizing our wedding from now , he is in the US Navy and his so worried that I won’t make on time for the wedding , and he might get deployed before I even get the NOA2 …..

As you know every time we get big hope it vanish in a few hours with all the changes going on ….

Ok in the spirit of positive thinking..this isn't a stop...just a delay....and if VSC is as fast as they have been in the past....once they start to roll...it will go fast in shaa Allah. Lets just hope once they are caught up it moves very fast after that. Good luck everyone.

Yesterday I’m coming home from work and all I could see was love all around me, couples holding hands laughing and hugging, squirrels playing catch me if you can. I’m on my bike sitting at the light and a bike pulls up next to me with his girl on the back we give the usual bikers nod and thumps up and I’m thinking to myself everybody’s friken with their love one but me. When I got home I see a letter from the Department Of Homeland Security I’m thinking it’s either my approval or RFE my hearts pounding as I open it up….#######!! a damn phone number I don’t need a phone number I need our NOA2….then I come VJ today and read the BAD NEWS….well as popeye would say (for those of you old enough to remember popeye) “that’s all I can stand cause I can’t stand no more.” I booked a flight to go see my baby on the 21st and if it’s going to be awhile before I get the NOA2 this trip will give me the strength to make it through a few more months. Cebu here I come!!!
