It feels... I feel absolutely euphoric. And I am flying to Toronto on Saturday for a long weekend, so I can celebrate with Scott in person. I called him at work and told him and he sounded really happy, and said "so... what does this mean?" lol

Well...ummm....errr..yeah..It is God's timing.... :crying: but i STILL want our June people to get ours tooooooooooooooo..LOL.....yeah..it is hard...but thats ok...cause we "family" here....and I cant not be happy for others...I wouldnt wish this wait on anyone....but MEL and some early june filers have REALLY waited!! I did, and I think it came at about the same time I checked the USCIS site, but I was wrapped up with work emails, so I didn't even notice it!

But it's good to know their stuff actually worked for me, getting the email and the site being updated, seeing as how some people never get it.

Hi guys....Sorry for my temperary meltdown but I have a heart problem and I was letting myself get too worked up. I was in the hospital for 2 days a couple of weeks ago and I am going in tomorrow to have a cardiovertor implanted because all of the meicine is not working on my irregular heartbeats.....I have been putting it off for months because oscar wants to be here but I have waited long enough and it is now necessary that it is done now.......I will be asleep for about an hour tomorrow but I am sure all will be o.k......Now I am letting you guys know that the Congressional Liason has contacted me about the whole processing problem at VSC but they are not sure they can get it on the hearing list...they make a list and then have to organize everything so most of the hearings for this session are set but they were asking about the spring.....at this point I am going to push for some kind of accountability here on USCIS and Mr Gonzales' part so even after Oscar is here and all is good with us I think I will push this with letters and phone calls....I also told them I would be willing to testify but I doubt that woul happen so even though nothing may come of this I feel better know that at least someone is at least talking to me.......Congrats on all the approvals....Lora

ive become so used to posting in this thread, that i feel like i have no friends anywhere else on VJ....

my case was sent to naples instead of albania...and its a national holiday today in albania, so i cant get anything done

just thought i would share that and say congrats to all those who were recently approved, and i hope that when everyone else gets their NOA2, they wont be syked out like i was, and have to deal with more BOLOGNA at the embassy stage

I just spoke with my congressman's office. They called VSC and spoke to their contact there. Apparently, this is someone they always call and is a high up there (not one of the useless customer service idiots). She said my case is currently with an adjucator. If I don't hear anything in 30 days they can call back.

Good news is my petition is with an adjucator. Bad news...why wouldn't I hear anything by 30 days?? I feel a little relieved though that it isn't in a dusty crate in the corner of a trailor parked out back in an abandoned parking lot.

The 30 days statement is what they tell everybody. It is the company mantra and they are just covering their asses.

Hey, I like that word! I think it's a keeper.

So I want to tell all my friends; I am so excited. But I know if I do, they'll be like, huh? And I'd have to explain what exactly the petition is and what part of the process this is... and perhaps some of them would misunderstand and think we got our visa, and then not understand my current state of happiness even more if I had to explain that that's still months off...

The thing is, you guys are the people who understand how exciting this is. All of us who have gone through this Vermont slowdown over the past few months. So, thank you all for understanding, for your congratulations, and your shared, well, everything. Negative frustrations and heartfelt excitement and everything.

I really hope all of you still waiting get approvals very, very soon. Vermont's over 70 for November, the best month of the year, so I think they're trying to fix their mistakes at least a little bit. I hope in December they continue to spit them out and soon there are no straggling, old petitions left behind.
