could you spare one teensy little good thought for CSC? ;)

Sorry, it never crossed my mind that CSC filers might come into the VSC thread.

Here's hoping that CSC also have at least 10 approvals per day this week.:thumbs:

I always read in here... I would anyway, because I like to know how BOTH the service centres are going, but remember I originally filed at Vermont, before inexplicably being sent to California, so I feel a bit of a connection here still ;)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Still Moving But Pace Slows

Here are the new VSC summary stats that reflect approvals dated through November 18th. To compare to the previous report, click here.

The projected number of processing days is based upon the number of open petitions divided by number of petitions approved per day for the various periods. As the approval rate changes, the projected processing time will change also. Perhaps dramatically. Please do not take the projections too seriously. However, projections may be useful in determining if your plans are realistic given the current rate of approvals.

This table lays out very well in my Internet Explorer. If it looks strange in your browser please let me know. Suggestions as to how to make the Summary Stat Report better are welcome.

Observations:

  • 2 training days may have been the cause for the slower pace last week.
  • Unless the pace increases to what it was the week before last (20 approvals in 7 days), it will take at least 3 weeks to finish June and 2 months to finish July.

Being a maverick is a good thing!!! I was just teasing you! I read all over the place in VJ - its a great way to learn! You'll always be one of "us"!!!

P.S. Looks like that Cali transfer may pay off for you, though! They are approving July filers much faster than VSC!

oh, don't worry; I knew you were teasing, and it's definitely a good thing; see my sunnies? ;)

I know! it's so ironic... there I was all gleeful that we could send to Vermont and bypass Texas (who would have sent it on to Cali), and then all annoyed and crestfallen when it was sent there anyway, and now it looks like it was for the best... but the proof of the pudding will, as always, be in the eating, so I'll see what sort of timeframe Cali cooks up for me before crowing too loudly ;)
