P.S.--I have some more depressing information from and 'inside' source about VSC, but I'll post that later.

Wendy,

I am interested in this. I imagine it matches what Bob and Kim said in an earlier post. Well, it can't be any worse than what we already see each day we log in here...zero from VSC. Take care and good luck tomorrow.

Bill B...., Today is your VJ adjudication date....Mine is November 4th....We mailed our petitions on the same day!!!! Hope to hear something soon...

Hi Tanjay,

Yes, I see that. I guess the FEDEX helped me a little. I hope CSC picks up the pace even more for you guys that were tranferred to them. Good luck to you and your fiancee.

Hi, question about the reporter US Wendy - is the last name Brulliard? Got a message thru VJ that a post reporter wanted to talk to Washington area filers, like me. Am talking with her trw. Any suggestions?

Also chocolates still in process. They won't due a special order for us, although I am not the greatest slaesman so anyone else is welcome to try. If we order off the shelf and put in our own messages all we need to do beforehand is get our press coverage in order. maybe I'll ask the reproter about that trw.

So still looking for anyone with more info on the press release subject, I guess I'll start googling the subject too.

Finally, funny story, in a gallows humor sort of way. I got an email today  but it is from manila embassy in reply to an email question I sent them 4 MONTHS AGO about an item on my I129! YIKES

I'm a Washington area filer, living in Vienna, VA. If she's looking for others suffering through this dreadful process, feel free to PM me and I'll give you personal contact information you can give to him/her.

Ok, so I ask to speak to a superviser, and they are all in a meeting, so she connects me to an immigration officer. I ask him what the slowdown is and when it is going to be corrected. He said the slowdown is due to the enormous amount of petitions that they have received. I ask him if they are all I-129Fs and he says no, they are all different types of petition. So I ask him if they are actively working ALL petitions or have they put I-129Fs on the backburner untill they get the stuff they are mandated by law to have finished within 2 months completed. He said he doesnt know. So, I ask him if they are going to let I-129Fs sit around until they get close to the 6 month window and then start pushing them through and just holding everyone on the verge of the 6 month timeframe. He said he didnt know. So, I ask him if they get close to the 6 month mark and they are not finished with the backlog if they are going to expand the timeframe to 10-12 months. He said he didnt know.

So, my only conclusion is that Immigration officers are just as ignorant of this process as the contract folks at the National customer service center.

This kind of stupidity makes me postal.

Maybe you should have just asked him what he did know.....or would that have stumped him too?

It looks like CSC is about to overtake us on K1 adjudications. They have had approvals this week on a couple of petitions that were sent on 5/21. If we ignore the recent VSC approval of the single June petition (Luva & The Skinny Viking), our most recent approvals were sent on 5/22 (Nora & Ryan 9/27 NOA2 and Priscilla & Michael 9/17 NOA2).

CSC (including TSC & NSC) has approved 14 K1's this week so far. VSC has had 0 this week and 1 for the entire month. :crying:

Interestingly on the Removing Conditions forum, someone has been transferred from VSC to CSC. They do say they are from Oceanside, I assume that's California, so maybe it's a mislisting.
