Weekly Monday morning call to VSC:

I learned my case is sitting on someone's desk--has been for 3 months--and they're waiting for security checks to come back. Didn't get the line about processing times, for once.

I did find out that a spot I'd accidentally (alien registration #) left blank on the G-325A did NOT generate an RFE...because they found his information and they had his original alien registration number from his first visit here 8 years ago. The woman on the phone told me that she could see his number and I was all set.

So...no worries. She said they can't finish processing my case till those checks come back.

So...it's a tiny bit more info, and more than I got last week. B)

Seriously, Monday mornings are the best time to call, everyone is friendly at the beginning of the week. No time spent on hold.

Divorced. To hell with him.

well this is my first posting, but i thought i would finally jump in as i'm on here daily gathering strength from you guys.

after weeks of nothing (NOA2 April 4/17), i finally got a touch listed on saturday (assuming it was updated late on friday).

a couple of weeks ago, having no touchs and stressed, i tried the RFE trick and was told that my petition didnt have any problems thus far. so i am, hoping to hear something concrete soon! (NOA2 this week!?!?). it'd be great to get it tomorrow; it's my birthday:)

in fact, i want to see flurry of approvals on VJ again like a few weeks ago, so that is what i will concentrate my hopes on - let's see

alot of dancing smiley faces this week, eh??

4/17 NOA1 (VSC)

7/03 Touched (updated mailing address)

7/07 Touched (progress?)

7/31 NOA2

8/06 Left NVC for Prague (!!!)
