Us embassy/consulate are open ???

Hi friends, my wife is us citizen and she applied for my case from the US.  My case is in AP from more then 18 months with both of us submitting enquiries.  A few weeks ago they replied to my wife that her case seems to be ready, but may be delayed due to Covid.  They said that a representative will contact us.  Does any body know what's the next process after AP and when the us embassy/consulates are going to reopen?

Sounds like the next step will be that the consulate contacts you .  You will likely need a new medical, and maybe other documents like police certificate. They might even ask for another interview. The good news is that you close to a final decision........Good luck.

I already provided them police certificate l been in england for 6 years i provided them police clearance certificate of them as well

Then a new medical exam might be the biggest requirement.  Hopefully, they contact you soon.

They are open and have been processing cases since sometime in June.  However I have only seen Cr1 and IR1 cases (mostly those who have filed WOMs).    So there has not been a lot of activity.  When they are ready they will call you and follow up with an email regarding coming in for oath and fingertips, getting a new medical exam and any other documents needed.   Do not try to get an exam until you have confirmation of an appointment at the embassy.  I have seen many mistaken emails mentioning the need for a new medical when the time comes and rushing out to get one but still no word on an interview.  It would be a waste of your time.

they are open. processing only AP cases and emergency. few ppl  I have been following have interview July 28, 30 and one had yesterday

pakistan embassy just updated on twitter that they are not reopening for routine services.

No. as of now, they are working on emergency and old AP cases

My documents were approved by NVC on May 13th, 2020. Do you have an idea when they will set-up interviews for that time frame?

My interview was canceled in Apr. still no word

Sometime after the consulate is ready to do visas I'd expect that you would hear from the NVC.   It all depends on the country and consulate.  You don't have a consulate or timeline so I'm not able to speculate further.
