Is EAD card production delayed?

On July 1, my case status for my EAD changed to "Card is in production," but then on the 7th, the case status changed to "My Case is Approved." I recognize USCIS states you should wait up to 30 days before contacting them. However through research it seems rare that it'll take more than 14 days to arrive. However according to people's timelines, it seems people from early June are just now receiving their cards. The month before people were receiving their cards within a week. Does anyone know if the cards being produced are delayed?

Timeline

So I have been in waiting since April 2019  our Interview for Adjustment of Status. USCIS Seattle has long wait time.

I was able to resubmit Renewal combo card in April 29,,2020( 5-8.5 wait time) Since biometric was waived due to COVID-19 it’s took about 2 months 😉Received notice “Card being produced” on Jul 2,2020.
I checked last night . My husband:Approved. (1-131) Travel Document. On his Work Authorization(1-765)noticed date change of  July 9, 2020; was able to view Combo Renewal Approval Notice  online. His approval 7/2020- 7/2021.  States in Progress,  USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing. I know from last year it took about 8 working days to receive Combo card from when I recieved text. I hoping for the same . After reading this article, I hope it’s printing since it coming from Nation Benefit Center.!

We have the same timeline. July 1 requesting for a new card. July 7 case changed to Case approved and no updates since then.  But I received my SSN card July 13th.

Do you mind if I ask what city you live in? I have not yet received my SSN card yet. Was it just sent in a regular envelope?

SS is an independent federal agency. USCIS is controlled by  US Dep. of Homeland Security. So those cards you will get them in different times.

I know that. I was asking the last person about what state they live in because they received their SS card already and I have not.

I'm here in Pensacola. Yeah it was sent in a regular envelope from SSA. I was actually surprised that I received my SSN Card first. Based on SSA website I should received first my EAD ID. Then after 7 days the SSN Card.

But until now my EAD status is still Case approved. I have called them and they said that if in 60 days I still have not received my EAD ID I should request for a new one. I know someone that she got her EAD first after 7 days that she receives the NOA and then another 7 days she got her SSN. She lives in TN.

I still haven't gotten either. However, according to http://opttimeline.com, they should start shipping July 1 OPT approvals tomorrow. I imagine this is the same for AOS EADs. All EAD printing has been delayed by like three weeks and a day.

Nowadays it takes approximately 3 weeks between "case approved" and "card mailed".
