American and Italian being able to see each other during Coronavirus travel ban

Hello, 

 

I live in Minnesota and my fiancé lives in Castelfiorentino, Italy.  My fiancé was about to schedule the K1 visa interview to move to Minnesota to be with me when the Coronavirus lockdowns and travel bans began.  We have not seen each other in 5 months.  We are so frustrated and sad and at a loss for how to move forward.  We would really like to be able to see one another.  Does anyone know where an American and an Italian could both travel right now to be able to meet up and see each other?

Yes, Mexico looks to be open for air travel.

My fiancé is Italian as well, we were looking at meeting in the Dominican Republic (they opened up at the beginning of July to everyone) You will need to be screened for COVID and have A Traveler’s Health Affidavit completed to enter. I believe Jamaica and a lot of the other islands are open as well.
