Aloha. Yesterday I got my I-485 application back with the recjection notice becasue of outdated form, along with the other forms. I have  a lot of questions  about re submitting it. I know I have to redo the I-485 and I-765 to the updated version.
1) My medical examination is expired now, do I have to redo it?
2) Whats the meaning of the codes numbers and letters under my documents?
3) is it ok to resubmit all the supporting documents I sent them before?

Please help thank you.

1) You mean I-693 is valid for 1 year.

2) Its just an entry of your application. Nothing to decode there

3) Yes you should have a green color paper to place on top for resubmission.  You can resubmit all the document for quicker processing with the updated forms.

First we need to know which path are you taking? K1 to AOS? Other visa to AOS?

1) if you mean your foreign medical, your medical is valid for 1 year as long as you FILE for AOS within this period. If you have a 693, than it's valid for 2 years.

2) when they scan the docs, they all get a code. Don't worry about it.

3) yes.

First I would like to know why you decided to have your medical done before everything. You're not required to show the medical until the date of the interview. You can file for AOS without the medical and take it straight to the interview.

Second, was your 130 accepted? The rule says: "will require applicants to submit a Form I-693 that is signed by a civil surgeon no more than 60 days before filing the underlying application for an immigration benefit."

Your underlying petition is the 130, not the 485. So if the 130 was filed and accepted within the 60 days period, you're good to go and pray your interview will take place in less than 2 years from the day of the medical.

If your 130 was also rejected. File for everything again, and wait to get an interview notice before doing your medical.

I didn't know that. But I'll keep it in mind to do the medical before interview.
My I-130 is also returned it says, "Your I-130 is being  returned to you because the eligibility you filed under requires that you file and I-485 also. Please resubmit both forms and the appropriate fees in order to continue processing.
Thank you. That's what I'll do
