Parachute is with his wife and family, and as far as I know he has no internet-access now.

I have a feeling that he got approved.

Good luck for Jim!

Thanks Zolanden. I guess I've been a little out of the loop for a few days. After we got our NOA2 a week ago, I decided I needed a nice break from the whole process AND THE STRESS!!! I'm back now, but a lot less paranoid than before we got our NOA2. CSC moves, but awfully slow. We'll all get our paperwork sent to NVC...we've got decades to enjoy every day with our spouses...we should be able to wait another couple of months to be reunited with them ;) I've realized this whole process is a lot easier when you're not stressing over where your paperwork is every minute of every day :)

Dennis,

You 're absolutely right! After we got ours,I became breathe and smile normally again.

I am more optimistic like I was before NOA2.

Hi Everybody

I just called USCIS and found out that our case was assigned to an adjudicator on 8/15/07. The person on the phone told me the standard check back in 30 days if it is not approved line.

However, another USCIS worker told me that the average time a case is with an adjudicator is about 10 days. So - I am very hopeful that our case will be approved this week. Does anybody have any information on how long a case sits with an adjudicator before a decision is made ???

Thanks

Neil

Neil, when I called and found out my case was with an officer, it was about 3 days later we got both forms approved. It will probably be less than a week for you! Pre-congrats!!!

Have you checked with them again to see what happened to it? Usually they would approve it or send an RFE.

We called them serveral times, but then nothing. Our congressman called and found out that ours is in FBI for name checks. Only thing that we can think of is that I moved a lot inside of States (When I was in US with F1 visa ) and outside of US ( We were in France, Germany, England and Japan) So it is taking long time for FBI to check..

We called a lawyer. He said we can't do anything till 6 months passed. :crying:

I hope ours won't take 2-3 yrs till it get approved like I hear on news sometimes..

Maekai, sorry to hear that. If I were you I would try to enter USA like tourist. I think that Japan is with visa wavier program. If at US entry post allow to you to enter US you can be together all the family for 3 months.
