2007-08-23 : I-130 NOA 2 (Recived email from CRIS)

2007-04-02 : I-129F Sent to Chicago

2007-04-09 : I-129F NOA 1

2007-04-25 : I-129F Touched I129 transferred to CSC

2007-05-21 : I-129F Touched I129 Recieved at CSC

2007-08-23 : I-129F NOA 2 (Approved, recieved email from CRIS)

2007-09-24 : I-129F Recieved at NVC and Case Number assigned.

2007-09-26 : I-129F Left NVC and on its way to Chennai.

2007-10-05 : Chennai Embassy Recieved our Case

2007-11-01 : Interview date, K3 Visa issued with absolutely no questions.

2007-11-11 : POE JFK took less than half hour

Kim&Will, It's our Six month anniversary tommorrow. I think we got our gift a day earlier.

Wow we are close on everything aren't we? We will have to keep track and band together to send good vibes to everyone else!

Lvivlovers..........yeah, hurry up and wait for NVC now eh? I am not going to let it get me down. We waited patiently for this part and we are going to enjoy it.

Will is waiting at my place until I get home from work (he arrived this morning for the weekend) and he has no clue yet :devil: It is soooooo hard not calling him but I want to do it in person.

I-130 Process

02-24-2007 | Marriage

03-21-2007 | mailed I-130 to Nebraska

04-05-2007 | Received NOA1

08-23-2007 | touched, wooohoooo (4.5 months later)

08-23-2007 | approved

Unsure | received NOA2

I-129F

04-09-2007 | mailed I-129F to Chicago

04-20-2007 | cheque cashed

04-23-2007 | Received NOA1 - advised it could take 60-180 days

to process

05-04-2007 | file transferred to California

05-08-2007 | touched

05-31-2007 | email received re: I-129F is pending at CSC

06-01-2007 | touched

08-23-2007 | approved and to be forwarded to NVC

10-02-2007 | received letter dated 09-27-2007 from NVC stating they received it and would forward

to Consulate in Vancouver

10-09-2007 | emailed Consulate to advise of my new address in Canada

10-10-2007 | email received from the Consulate stating they received my file on 10-01-2007 and

mailed the package to me but would mail another that day to my new address.

10-11-2007 | received the original package that was mailed to my old address (forwarded by the post

office)

10-24-2007 l medical exam and faxed checklist to Consulate

10-25-2007 l interview date letter mailed to me by Consulate

10-29-2007 l email reply from Consulate advising they mailed the letter and my interview date is set for

my birthday, November 13, 2007

11-13-2007 l interview at 1:00 at Consulate. Verbal approval

11-14-2007 l picked up my visa....woohoooo

Enjoy your trip there and back. Well actually the stay there as the trip there in back is a long windy road of waiting in airports and being cramped in an airplane with a large number of people who haven't showered in a few days. Hehehe. You are lucky that she lives in a safe area, and will not have to worry much about any problems. My wife is on Mindanao, where there is a war going on and would be impossible for me to visit. Good luck and have fun. Hopefully by the time you arrive there, your petition will be on a mail truck to NVC.

FINALLY Approved on 21 Aug. Like many the I-130 was approved on the same day as the I-192F. So what do I do? Forget about the I-129F and just go for the I-130? I don't care about the money only how fast I can get my wife here.

Hi Fas550 and congratulations for your approval. If you don't care about money and want your wife to be as fast as possible with you, choose I 129 F route.

I 130 and I 129 F approved on 24 aug 2007. I got the CRIS emails today.

My daughter's I 130 still pending according the website.I hope she'll be approved early next week too!

We are SO happy!
