Good Morning all my question is for my 3 I864 forms will i click #1 and #2? or for each one just click on #1.

I am sponsoring my husband and daughters to follow so #1 would be for him but #2 I would put to follow. Please help I am not at that stage but i have things ready for NVC and I really don't want another RFE for no fault of mine. I first filed in 1/2019 was denied in May because of my marriage certificate and they wouldn't except my letter (USCIS) so i had to wait to get it from the archives and refiled in Oct 2019. If anyone can help I am really greatful thank you so much

Did you list his daughters on Part 2?

If:

1. Yes and

2. They are coming over with him,

then check box 2.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Are you a USC or an LPR?

If you are a USC, you would’ve filed three separate i130s which means three separate i864s. In that case you DO NOT check box 2 in any of the i864s, just check box 1 only.

No I didn't list them because they have their own I-864 so for each one just select #1

I'm wrong then. My apologies. Other better experts will chime in.

USC - I am also trying to do the same I have my spouse and my step child coming. I am not sure how to complete the sections I hear so many conflicting ways to files these forms. If we have two coming spouse and stepchild we need two forms. Why would they have questions on this form relating to another immigrant (step child) if we need to complete two forms. I was only charged one fee for both applications.

yes theres one fee i think for AOS but each IV would be 3 fees for me. That is what is confusing me. i know not to add their names to the same sheet but they will be counted so on my husband form it's 1-1-#4(2) for me then when i do my girls it will be 1-1-1-1-. it's how they word this thing that got me. ive been asking since jan 2019 and i know people have been approved and had the same questions but don't like to help. I was thankful for the 2 above and these to guys to help. like i read but some things have changed since 2010-2018 i am sure lol. I know the I-864 is for many visas some questions will be off to us. but i was stuck because they are coming with him but that question could be for another visa
