What in the world is happening with the NVC, does someone have any info about this? this is their third week and they haven't moved from 14th of February ??

The timeline is not correct because my docs have been DQ recently and my submission date was Feb 25, 2020.

my petition was approved March 25, 2020 and it is now May 17 and I still haven't received a welcome letter or a case number

Hi, we received our case number in mid-March. Our status is still 'in transit' since 31 Mar and our petition is still sitting in NVC

@MilmaukaYea I know not very encouraging and besides their aren't any international flights going out anyway and the Philippines isn't allowing any that isns't a diplomat or government or a Philippine resident into the country honestly I don't think that they will resume  interviews probably until next year and by that time the system may be over loaded

@caviarlifestyle @Milmauka

Some hope is on the horizon as Duterte announced yesterday moving to GCQ starting June 1st, and PAL has followed the same for June 1. But no information on lifting the 14 day quarantine yet. Hoping after June 11 the Bureau of Quarantine will do so. Because it is very confusing even between provinces right now. Even Filipino citizens are being 14 day Quarantine just going to the neighboring province.

Media is now posting that Manila Embassy could be opening as soon as possible after June 11.

Ok so I just spoke with the nvc again to get some clarity on what's going on and why its taking so long I was told its taking so long and case statuses haven't changed because the manila embassy is closed so they cant send the files because their isn't anyone to accept them so they are basically sitting until the embassy opens and starts interviews again
