I would re-check this - as far as I am aware only CT, NY, NJ residents don't need the I-944 right now.

Read the link I posted - Nowhere does it reference specific states - If I am wrong, please provide me a source - but I am quoting from the USCIS website, and I don't see any amendments to the injunction there.

We had our biometrics appointment yesterday - In and out in about 10 minutes, and even though it was coded as a 2, they did all fingerprints - Woke up this morning to two status updates:  Biometrics complete for EAD and AOS!

Case got updated “Ready to be scheduled for interview”. That was pretty quick! I’m not complaining 😂

Yes, I understand that - However, to have the status change the DAY after biometrics is exciting - We could have sat with a status of biometrics taken for months -

Congratulations 🎉🍾

Congratulations guys! 🥳

I am still waiting for the biometrics appointment.

AOS received Chicago Lockbox: August 03

NOA 1: August 13

NOA 1 received in the mail: August 25

RFE: September 1 - they sent us an I-693 (medical exam) deficiency notice. Have you received this? My understanding is that we can bring it to the interview. Is that correct?

If you got a pink slip you bring I693 to the interview, I had mine included with the original application. I think @samdog got the pink slip if I remember correctly.

Hopefully you get your biometrics appointment soon.

Thank you! It is a yellow slip - it says that the initial review of the application shows that the application is deficient due to I-693 not being submitted. It further says that if I receive an interview notice in the mail, I should bring the evidence to the interview and if the case does not require an interview, I will receive RFE with further instructions.

Oh okay, I probably mixed up the colors. So yeah, you just bring it to the interview.

Yeah we also received the yellow paper stating I-693 deficiency.

Our PD is 6/12 and we haven't heard anything from USCIS about biometrics. There are at least 3 other visajourney users with PD close to ours (1 a week before, 2 a week after) who already had their biometric appointments at the same ASC that we fall under + both were NBC too. 🤷‍♂️

I’m sorry, USCIS seems to be super disorganized and it really stresses people.

We received the same yellow slip - I have seen them in pink and yellow, I think it depends on what color paper is in the printer, lol!  We are at "case ready to be scheduled for interview".
