06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Apparently Governor Cuomo did not care about granny, putting all those Covid19 positive patients back into nursing homes etc.

Well, here is the problem with this:

Just Facts reported that anxiety comes from empirically-grounded concerns about the virus, anguish over the death of loved ones, media outlets that overstate the deadliness of the coronavirus, government stay-at-home orders and self-imposed isolation, and the government-mandated lockdowns that have done tremendous economic damage. It is likely impossible to isolate the specific anxiety caused by lockdowns from this broader analysis.

Maybe they should have measured anxiety in Sweden vs other places to compare apples to apples.
