good afternoon,

I filed a claim for unemployment yesterday (Sunday) and I thought that since they waived the waiting week, I can file a weekly claim today (Monday).

but when I tried to do that, it says " no weeks are pending for the entered SSN".

can somebody explain that to me please?

Might want to post what state.. UC/UI is a state program and each state has their own rules, signup process, etc.

did you work and can show paystubs from an employer?

 

It means your employer did not send any money in for your unemployment benefits/ they send and pay quarterly the unemplyment money for their listed employees

I worked in Missouri. 

I worked in my most recent job for a year.

while I was filing the claim, they knew who my employer was by my SSN.

the message that I am getting is whenever I am trying to file the weekly claim.

is it possible that I have to wait a week before filing my first weekly claim? because I opened a claim yesterday.

The best I could find was this:

 

it does not sound like the employer wasn't sending in their contribution. It sounds more like a timing issue, or possibly their system not being able to handle everything (not unlikely nowadays).

Even though the first week is waved it still takes time to process it.  It takes time to check that the employer isn't protesting it.  Also, the MO unemployment site was having issues with claims not showing for some  people this past week and they are working to fix it.  I would give it a couple of days
