Hello everyone,

I am doing AOS and I will have to take the medical examination as soon as the USICS offices are open again. Now, I have a problem with the vaccination record.

I have not had the chance to have it translated from original language to English because just when I was about to, Covid 19 hit Europe and the office where I could ask for a certified translation and a duty stamp, closed. My question is, can I translate it on my own and hand it at the examination ? Is there a chance that the doctor could accept it?
I have done all the vaccines USICS ask so I would like to avoid to lose other time and money to do the same vaccines again.

Thank you,
Lilly

If you are competant in both languages and sign an attestation as such, you can self translate

You don't wait for the uscis offices to open, you get the medical at a civil surgeon.   They may or may not be open now

You do the medical at a Civil Surgeon.   That is not part of the USCIS office.  Are you sure that your K1 medical was not marked complete?  If so you would just provide a copy of that - assuming it is less than a year old.

You can translate the vaccination yourself.

My bad! I said USICS because I still have to take fingerprints which comes before medical examination.

Thank you for the info anyway. It's better for me that I can translate it.

It does make sense to wait for the interview to come closer doesn't it? Worst case the medical expires if the interview wait is a long one.

You can send the medical with the application or wait.   Your choice

YMMV
