We finally had the DCF approved and visa approved as well, my wife got her date set as August 1st as expiration for visa. But airport is closed indefinitely in Lima PERU. What to do? What if they won't re-open the airport before the expiration of the visa's entry date? I tried sending numerous emails to LimaIV@state.gov and NO RESPONSE. Nothing. Who can I call or email to find out?

If the visa expires the consulate has the discretion to re issue it.  You would redo medical and the consulate fees.

Thank you Paul & Mary! From what i understood they had closed the DCF in Lima Peru. I can't find any information on state gov site. Where does she need to reapply to get consulate to re-assess? Schedule an appointment? I really hope it won't get to it, but right now there is no clarity as to when airports will re-open.

There are no appointments, as consular services are suspended.  Can you possibly get to another airport?

It looks like Bogota is the closest airport flying to Miami.  I realize it’s not all that close, but that could be something to explore.

that i know, colombia also suspended international flights a while back. my wife also got her visa approved in colombia and we have no flights.
