We had an interview for 4/9 and it was cancelled so I contacted the embassy to see what to do about extending and that first quote was the reply I got. I explained our NOA2 expired in May and the second quote was the next reply.

I figured their responses are just what they are told to tell people right now. So I agree, that I should try again in a couple weeks when they have had time to figure out what this situation.

Deff try again, because there are lots of people on here who have upcoming interviews which are going to be canceled or have been already canceled. So they should be accomodating to everyone. It will be a longer wait time because everything will be backed up but as long as everyone gets their fair share xD then I wouldn't stress as much. But I would contact the Embassy in April. It also helps to update your timeline and profile such as country so if you ever post further posts people can help you better. :)
