Hello all new on here just had some questions regarding my wife visa case in Pakistan embassy. She went for her interview in October 2019 and was refused visa because joint sponsor income did not meet requirements. Embassy gave 221g saying to submit financial documents of a new joint sponsor. I was wondering if I meet the income requirements myself do I still have to have joint sponsor. Also when submitting new documents do I upload to crack or submit thorough courier service. Thanks for help in advance.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

It depends how much is your income in tax returns?

Current income for an employed person does not come from a tax return.  It comes from a pay stub.

My pay stubs indicate I meet the requirements also I turned in a letter from my employer stating my yearly salary. Is that enough or is more proof required? Also where should i submit the new documents as i still have not received response for 4 months?

You would submit a complete new financial package with your updated I-864.  You can also submit a package from a different, more qualified joint sponsor.  Submit as instructed in your 221g notice.

Thank you for your help. I will submit a new financial package ASAP. Hoping for the best!

A joint sponsor is not required. It's only there to benefit the petitioner in the case he/she does not meet the financial standard. You can certainly file a Affidavit of Support as the sole Primary sponsor if you meet the income requirements.

Whatever a Consular Officer says is required, is "required".  However, in this case, the Petitioner is indicating they are more qualified today to sponsor alone than they were when the original affidavit of support was submitted.
