My husband got an adjustment for him to send more documents in and they will not readjust it until they look at the documents impost the adjustment. Can anyone tell me how long this is going to take? My husband is in a hotel room waiting. Should I find an apartment for him to rent for a month?

AP is a black hole, impossible to say, should not make definite plans until visa is in hand.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

AP can take months even year (it is even worse because of the virus) so just go on with his normal life.

AP can last a long time.  Until the VISA is in hand, and checked to see if it is correct, your husband shouldn't have made any plans to move, quit a job or sold anything.   There is a clear admonition from the Department of State in step 12

Hopefully it won't take long.

He has not sold anything or moved. He is from another area and we had to go there for the Visa. Thank you for the info. We hope so too. Everything has taken them from the start very long. We will wait, what else can we do. This control s our lives.

They closed the embassy until the 27th. There are no flights in or out of Kenya. Not only is it taking a life time for a married couple to reunite a virus has taken over time as well.
