ADDRESS CHANGE

I changed the address online 2 weeks ago, I only got the address change request confirmation the minute I submitted the form and it said - expect reply by march 13, it's the 14th already, I got no reply, no other email,

was I supposed to get any kind of confirmation email? should I submit the form again?

I am waiting for my GC to arrive so this is important.

Hello. I see myself  in your message. I advice you call USCIS, inform them that you changed address. They will ask you what you changed it to, once you tell them. They will confirm if it is same with the records they have. 

Also don't forget to create a USPS account with your address created. 

That's a very important step as well.

You should get a physical letter the main acknowledging your change of address (it will arrive at the new address). You can also try to call as @kivasbeauty mentioned, but there might be high call volume due to the coronavirus uncertainty at the moment. Still wouldn't hurt.

 

Are you signed up with USPS's Informed Delivery yet?

That's too bad. Try calling USCIS, you may have to physically mail them your address change and wait. That's what we did because for some reason the online form didn't work for us.

Mailing address might take forever. That should be your last move. @millefleur is right when he said you might recieve a long call wait volume. Cornavirus is priority and unfortunately affecting all sectors
