We received the biometrics appointment, but it is at 8 AM, what happens if we get there and hour or so late?? Filed February 29, and got Biometric letter/document on March 9...for March 23rd.

Any insight is appreciated, thanks

If you can't make it on the time on the appointment day, you can try a walk in appointment earlier than your appointment. I recommend a Wednesday right after lunchtime. Take your letter and explain the situation to security, they will call the director and ask. If you're there on a slow day, usually Wednesday, they will take care of you then and there. My wife and I did a early walk-in no issues. Check the reviews of your local office and see if people have been able to get in early. That's probably your best bet, if your late, it usually isn't a good thing, I have seen people 10-15 minutes late with no issues, but it's a risk. If it's not too far from you, try a walk in, nothing to lose by trying. Maybe they can tell you a good time to come back worst case.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. That's an odd question. Appointments are given for reasons :) They have the right to not let you in, if they do use the right - nobody can tell.

If the day doesn't work for you, you can try either early walk in (where they can deny you entry as well), or use the portion of the slip to request a re-schedule.

I know from an experience one lady had the day I did my walk-in.

She missed her appointment completely but was still allowed in to get it done. Her appointment was actually the day before she went it but she messed up and requested the wrong day off from her job.

The good thing about the Application Center is that the security guard is a cool guy and he asked her why she missed it, accepted her reason and told her to grab a form and have a seat :)

But, don't plan to be late to something this important. Their luck isn't yours.
